What we offer at a glance!
PRE-JUNIOR COMPANY QUEECHY & RIVERSIDE
Suited to our younger performers from prep to grade two our pre-junior company classes encourage confidence, communication and cooperation through a variety of Drama games and fun activities. Class are 50 minutes in length and are offered at Queechy on Tuesday afternoons and Riverside on Thursday afternoons. There is no production for pre-juniors but there are some parent sharing performances during the year.
Our Junior company is designed for students from grades 3-6 and caters for returning members and students with the confidence and commitment to work on a full-scale production. The first term is dedicated to skill work, ensemble building and working with scripts, in preparation for production. Performing at the Launceston Competitions is also an option.
The following three terms are then dedicated to our MainStage production - due to hit the Albert Hall in mid-late November 2026.

Our Junior Stage Skills Class is held on Monday afternoons at Queechy. This is a weekly class only with no production involved so it is budget and time friendly and perfect for beginners who are just starting their performance journey, or those who don't have the time to dedicate to a full theatre run.
MIDDLE COMPANY QUEECHY & RIVERSIDE
Our Middle companies cater for performers from grade 6 to grade 9. Middle company may be better suited to our more experienced grade 6 performers than junior company and our less experienced performers in grade 9 than our senior company. The first term is dedicated to skill work, ensemble building and working with scripts, with smaller classes and performing at the Launceston Competitions is also an option. The following three terms are dedicated to focusing on our MainStage production due to hit the Albert Hall in mid-late November 2026.
SENIOR COMPANY QUEECHY & RIVERSIDE
Our Senior company caters to actors from grade 9 onwards. After some ensemble work in the first few weeks, the next 2 .5 terms are dedicated to our MainStage productions which will be held in late August/early September 2026 at St Catherine's Hall. Term 4 will be dedicated to skill building, including audition workshops, acting for film and stage combat.
LYTE'S CHOIR KIDS
LYTE's Choir Kids is a choir singing experience, held on Monday afternoon/evenings. Working with our vocal director Penny - students will get the opportunity for group vocal coaching as they sing the hits, both old and new in a relaxed and fun setting. Lessons are one hour in length and suitable for students from grades 3 to 7.
